Ceiling Fans

Ceiling fans have been used in many home and businesses for decades. The energy saving advantages enjoyed by using ceiling fans have been one of the main factors that that they are used in many homes and businesses. In a time when heating and cooling costs are continually increasing, the use of ceiling fans is a great way to enjoy great savings on your electricity bills!

Ceiling Fans have the ability to be used in one of two ways. In many cases most ceiling fans have a switch that reverses the rotational direction of the ceiling fan blades. In the hot seasons such as summer, the blades of ceiling fans are set up in such a way so as to blow air downwards. In essence this creates a cooling effect in the room in which ceiling fans are installed. In the winter season, ceiling fans are set up in such a way that as blades of ceiling fans rotate, warm air is made to rise on top of the cold air. Ceiling fans therefore end up spreading the warm air throughout the room.

The ability to use ceiling fans in the winter and summer means that the energy savings can be enjoyed throughout the year. Ceiling fans are also a great addition to any room and can be a great way to enhance the décor in a room.
